As one of the world famous manufacturers on various oil sludge separation equipment and system, GN Solids Control has provided over thousands of customized systems to global customers. GN Solids Control just provided two sets of oil sludge treating plants in Middle East.
GN Oil Sludge Treating Plants are mainly used to treat the sludge: a. Refinery Oil Sludge; b. Oil Tank Bottom Sludge; c. Drilling Cuttings from Drilling Rigs. As an experience provider, GN Solids Control has many experience engineers who are very professional to provide the customized solutions.
The oil sludge in this customer’s #1 work site is 20% solids, 20% water, 60% oil and the other work site treat the sludge consists of 60% solids, 20% water, 20% oil. In order to pump those sludge to GN treating systems smoothly, GN Solids Control provides one vacuum cuttings pump to pump those sludge from the mud pit.
GN Hi-G force shaker (8.0 G) is used to separate out most of the large solids in the oil sludge. One set of GN 40ft Dosing and Chemical Unit is used to add polymer and adjust the PH value. The slurry that treated after shaker are mixed with chemicals and PH value also adjusted before sending to GN decanter centrifuge with one screw pump.
In order to keep the slurry in a good flowability, GN mud agitators are kept rotating to keep the solids particles from sediment and one set of heating pipeline are assembled on the treating tank.
All the solids part that treated after shaker and centrifuge are collected by cutting boxes. And the liquid part discharged from decanter centrifuge is feed into the slant treating unit, so finer solids can be further removed by a screw conveyor and relative clean water can get from the outlet on the top of the slant unit.
One set of oil and water separator is also further used to separate the oil and water and feed into a water and oil tank separately.
