GN Solids Control just developed one new decanter centrifuge which driven by hydraulic. By using GN hydraulic driven decanter centrifuge, customers can separate the variety of slurries in the remote area without electricity.
GN experienced engineers built this new series with Sweden famous hydraulic supplier Viscotherm and Rotodiff. This GN centrifuge is especially designed to use in the separating of large gravity drilling mud under high temperature. Due to the compact design and structure, GN hydraulic centrifuge can be moved pretty conveniently.
This centrifuge is built on the base of GNLW363 centrifuge, which is a 14inch size centrifuge that treating capacity is around 130 GPM. GNLW363 decanter centrifuges are widely proven to be one of the most successful centrifuges while the most cost effective centrifuge in the world. GN centrifuge rotating bowl is made by duplex stainless steel 2205. With hundreds pieces of Tungsten Carbide Tiles, GN screw propeller can use in harsh working condition for long time without any wear.
GN Solids Control now manufactures 300 to 400 sets decanter centrifuges every year, most of them are using in the International market which is almost 65 countries. GN decanter centrifuges are especially popular to treat the drilling mud or drill slurry by world large customers, such as Shell, Baker Hughes and Bariod etc.
This hydraulic driven centrifuge can be also controlled by PLC. By using Viscotherm system, GN centrifuge’s rotating bowl and screw propeller is driven separately by the hydraulic pump (which is equipped with safety valves, gauges etc). During the running of GN centrifuge, the rotating speed of centrifuge bowl and screw propeller can be adjusted continuously by the operating of this hydraulic driven system.
In order to keep the centrifuge running smoothly, GN engineers set some detecting and triggering conditions, such as the a oil low level is detected and alarmed, so the operators know if it’s need to add some oil. Feel free to connect with us if you are interested to use one set.
