GN Solids Control just finished the manufacturing of one set drill slurry treating system. This system is used for treating the varieties of drilling slurry in one Africa Refinery Mud Plant.
As the top one manufacturer on drilling waste equipment and whole systems, GN Solids Control has provided thousands of customized solutions to global customers. GN Solids Control equipment and systems are well known in more than sixty countries and regions. GN workers now are busing working on the final testing before this system leave factory.
This system is mainly including the following equipment:
Shale shakers are widely used in the first phase separation for coarse solids. GN shakers are assembled with GN made Composite API shaker screens which are last longer than the metal frame shaker screen.
GN centrifuges are widely used by oil and gas customers as well as customers from some other slurry separation area. Centrifuge rotating bowl is made from duplex stainless steel and inside impeller is fixed with tungsten carbide tiles for long time usage. One GN transfer unit includes submersible pump and round tank is also used to suck the slurry from the shaker tank and pump into GN centrifuge.
3. GN Dosing System
GN dosing system is mounted on one skid with the decanter centrifuge. Chemicals are added automatically by using this system, PH value is adjustable in order to have different drilling fluids. With the use of GN dosing system, decanter centrifuge can separate the finer particles less than 2 microns. With the increasing of the solids density, GN decanter centrifuge will be able to treat around 25 cubic meter’s thick slurry.
4. GN Oil and Water Separator
After the solids are separated out, GN oil and water separator will be used. This is one optional unit based on customer’s special demand. Two separated tank are used to stock the oil and water.
